PSI-M40 - Pressure regulator pre-calibrated at 2.8 bar

The Rain Bird PSI-M40 pressure reducer is designed to maintain a constant pressure level. It is mainly used for drip systems, micro-irrigation and sprinkler irrigation, where the system cannot be subjected to greater mains water pressure, because the individual elements and components would not be able to withstand it.

The PSI-M40 can be installed in valve boxes, valve manifolds and even underground. Its structure is designed in such a way that it can bear the load and does not have any problems even in the ground. In terms of technical data, this device can therefore be installed both below and above the ground surface and provides a factory-set output pressure.

Its water yield varies from 7.4 to 83 liters per minute. The inlet pressure can be a maximum of 7 bar and the pressure reducer could be damaged if this is exceeded.

The inlet and outlet connections are with 3/4" internal thread on both ends. The outlet pressure of this pressure reducer is fixed at 2.80 bar.

This pressure reducing device is very important for drip irrigation, since soft polyethylene fittings and tubing, as well as drip tubing, are designed for low pressures.
